Leadership Greater Madison (LGM) and Civitas are leadership education and training programs for people who live and work in the Greater Madison Area through a joint effort of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce and Wood Communications Group.

Leadership Greater Madison

Leadership Greater Madison (LGM) is an advanced leadership training program for qualified individuals who live and work in the Dane County area. LGM has introduced more than 600 local business executives, educators and nonprofit leaders to the issues and challenges facing Dane County communities. LGM is a 501 (c) 3 and is a nonprofit, non partisan educational program of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Civitas

The mission of the Civitas series is to:

• Enhance public understanding of how local government is funded and operates.
• Stimulate greater public engagement with and participation in local government.
• Encourage the use of sound, relevant and balanced research in the development and adoption of public policy.
