GMCC People
Serving the Needs of the Greater Madison Business Community
A non-profit organization that unites businesses and business people to expand and improve the economy in our area, the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce is the collective voice of the greater Madison business community. GMCC members are connected to the largest and most active business advocacy group in the region.
The GMCC staff of 12 full-time employees handles public policy, membership services, programs, events, marketing, communication and much more on behalf of our members. Our staff stays in touch with what is happening in the region and promotes plans that we believe will support a better business community.
Our staff works closely with the GMCC Board of Directors, a diverse group of business leaders who guide the overall strategic direction of our organization. The staff also works together with the members of our Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC) and Minority Business Advisory Council (MBAC) to stay connected to and best serve these important cross-sections of our greater Madison business community. Additionally, our GMCC ambassadors act as liaisons with businesses and the community. This outgoing group of professionals serves as stewards of GMCC membership services and satisfaction.
